Reviews - The Pullman Strike, 1971-1975
Scope and Contents note
This series includes all documentation of the publishing process of the Kerr Co. literature, as well as the promotion and selling of the literature. Layouts, artwork, and photographs used to illustrate the publications are included, as well as information on printers and binders employed to do the physical production of the books. The series contains price lists, catalogs, promotional brochures, fliers, event posters, and reviews of certain publications (arranged alphabetically by title of the book) used to help market and sell the literature. Occasionally the company would employ sales representatives to help distribute the publications, and the correspondence is included here. At the end of this series are card file records, indexing the names and addresses of people and institutions to whom promotional literature was to be mailed: faculty, individuals, book wholesalers and distributors, organizations, other periodical publishers, and book dealers.
