Contains completed reports, drafts, notes, and field notebooks created by Erminie Wheeler-Voegelin. Includes chapter drafts and research materials for an uncompleted work on the ethnography of the Shawnee. Among the other materials are notes and drafts of her work with Tübatulabal ethnography, and field notes, surveys, and element lists from work on the Ojibwa on Birch Island in 1941. Also a few writings by colleagues, including Alan Dundes, Fred Eggan, Emily J. Blasingham, and Remedios Wycoco-Moore.
