Scope and Contents note

This company was incorporated in 1871 as a separate company by the B&MRR, Iowa to construct a branch of its line from Chariton to Leon, Iowa. After construction was completed in August of 1872, the line was operated by the B&MRR, Iowa as lessee.

Record group contains corporate records, stock ledgers, lists, and powers of attorney.
