Passenger trains files are reports, memoranda, and correspondence related to the management of passenger traffic along specific routes of the CB&Q. Files include counts of passengers using various cars (space assignment of coaches, sleepers, dining, etc.), reports of performance and stops along the route, reports of customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction, and handling of equipment and employees. Also contains memoranda regarding how to publicize the lines and their special tours and excursions. The bulk of the material is from 1959-1965, excluding 1962. For advertising material produced, see Series 32.9, Pamphlets and Printed Ephemera. The Pioneer Zephyr is alphabetized under ā€œPā€: it is usually referred to as Zephyr; christened as the Burlington Zephyr, Apr. 18, 1934; renamed Pioneer Zephyr, Nov. 11, 1936.
