They are interviews with employees and officials of the CB&Q, as well as readings of chapters from his book, all used to compile the history of the company. Selections have been digitized and are available on mp3 format.

Pioneer Zephyr Radio programs are air check recordings made on 78 rpm radio transcription discs, both aluminum- and glass-based by companies that provided this service for advertising agencies and their clients.
