Series 6: Dance notation notebooks, 1931-1964

Scope and Contents note

Five large loose-leaf notebooks and four smaller notebooks consisting of a range of informational outlines, instructions, and dance routines written and composed by different dancer teachers, including McRae. Most material mimeographed or typed, sometimes annotated and occasionally dated, often with accompanying music cited. The final four notebooks, labeled "Edna's Notes" or "Edna's Dances," are arranged chronologically, perhaps by use in a classroom setting. Arrangement note

Arranged as McRae labeled and kept the notebooks except for #5, which had no label.
