Letter to Dr. N. W. Jispon, Chicago from A. McG. Beede. Describes drawing of a young man soothing a cow, while "his young bride" milks it. according to Beede, the picture was done by Wagacan (Cottonwood), a Sioux Indian. The drawing was the winning submission entered in a contest sponsored by Beede. Folder includes two additional copies of the drawing.

The [Sioux Indian Drawings] are open for research in the Special Collections Reading Room; 1 box at a time maximum, and items in each box will be counted before and after delivery to the patron, proper art handling procedures will be strictly enforced (Priority I).
