Scope and Contents note

From the Series:

Materials related to Ruth Page’s personal life, including address books and calendars; high school yearbooks from the Tudor Hall School in Indianapolis; biographical articles and obituaries; oral history and interview transcripts; and her collections of postcards and Anna Pavlova materials. The Pavlova scrapbook is a 1922, illustrated, French language biography of Anna Pavlova by Valerian Svetlov, with letters, clippings, photographs, and other materials inserted by Ruth Page. There is also some material related to her mother, Marian Page, and brother, Irving Page, as well as her two husbands Thomas Hart Fisher and Andre Delfau. Some sketches and drawings by Delfau are included, as well as unidentified artwork.

Since the finances of Ruth Page and her husband Thomas Hart Fisher were heavily entwined with the Ruth Page Foundation and School of Dance, and the Chicago Ballet, their estate, tax, and investment records are included with the Business Records series.
