The 25 photographs include portraits of Arthur Conan Doyle; Doyle at work; Doyle on skis; Doyle with his sons; Doyle in military uniform; shots of the Crowborough Civilian Volunteer Battalion; the Doyles with the Harry Houdinis; and Doyle with religious figures at a meeting of Fellowship of Faiths. Also, the Psychic Bookshop; Doyle’s flower-covered casket; snapshots of some “Fairy” Photos (actually garden gnomes); and a well-known portrait of William Gillette as Sherlock Holmes, with separate autograph.
