Scope and Contents note
Correspondence, diary, personal materials, and memorabilia collected by Catherine Eddy Beveridge. Correspondence consists of incoming letters except for one outgoing letter to Jenny Byrne. Many letters are from Catherine Eddy Beveridge's mother Abby Eddy in the months after the birth of Catherine's first child. Much of Catherine's diary and personal and collected materials document turn of the century American and European social culture as well as Catherine's marriage to Senator Albert J. Beveridge of Indiana. The diary includes photographs annotated by Catherine, some of which are duplicated in the Photographs series.
