Scope and Contents note

Albums assembled by Catherine Eddy Beveridge about her family. Logs compiled by Susan Radomsky in 1999 correspond to photographs, but the albums also include letters and other memorabilia. Loose photographs were removed to the Photographs series. Letters were photocopied, with the originals removed to the appropriate series and the photocopies left in place of the originals. Album I references Franklin Fayette Spencer and the hardware business he founded. Album II contains photographs, clippings and memorabilia about Franklin Fayette Spencer, Rachel Macomber Spencer, Mary Spencer, Delia Caton Field and Marshall Field, Spencer Eddy, and other relatives. Album III is primarily photographs and clippings from Abby Eddy and Delia Caton Field's young adulthood and weddings. Also included are family photos of Abby Eddy, Augustus Eddy, and a young Spencer Eddy.

The Autograph Book was compiled by Rev. John Henry Barrows, Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church and later President of Oberlin College. Barrows was President of the World's Parliament of Religions held in connection with the World's Columbian Exposition in 1983, and collected most of the autographs during this time. Other autographs are included on letters written to Catherine's brother Spencer Eddy during his time as a foreign diplomat.
