Correspondence includes letters from various writers to Herbert Stuart Stone, Sr., to Stone & Kimball, and to Hannibal Ingalls Kimball. Interfiled are responses from Stone. There is also correspondence between the Stone family members, particularly between Herbert and his brother Ned (Melville E. Stone, Jr.). See correspondence in the House Beautiful Series for letters between Mr. Stone and John Lloyd Wright. Additional later correspondence from Herbert Stuart Stone, Jr. pertains to the exhibition of the Stone and Kimball material at the Newberry Library as well as potential exhibits of his collection of Art Nouveau posters to various institutions.
