Scope and Contents note
Includes art catalogs, art magazines, and art gallery flyers, chiefly from 1959 through 1970. In addition, there are newspaper and magazine clippings about the many artists and writers associated with Stone and Kimball publications, as well as clippings about the Chap Book. Also included are contracts, agreements, and receipts between the publishers and the writers, as well as autographs and signatures from writers collected at various important dinners. There is information on various clubs, such as The Caxton Club and The Mark Twain Club, and booklists. There is a hand-written list of Stone and Kimball publications, compiled by Herbert Stuart Stone, Sr.
