Material about Rudolph Ganz, including vital records, publicity and clippings, calendars and itineraries, lists he made, and biographical summaries from various sources. Calendars of his performances are lacking for seasons 1924-1925, 1925-1926, 1926-1927, 1935-1936, and 1942-1943. In 1944-1945 he started calling them "Route Books."

Publicity and clippings include Press clippings and reviews, press releases, brochures, advertisements, and some works (duplicated in the Works series). Clippings from ca. 1924-1927 include lists of Ganz's recordings, both audio and player piano roll. (Duo-Art pianola) Oct. 1933 includes new piano rolls from Lyon & Healy. Clippings from Mar. 1927 report on his resignation as conductor of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. Clippings from 1956 cover the naming of Ganz Recital Hall in the Auditorium Theater at Roosevelt University. Clippings from 1962 include Ganz's involvement in both the Webern Festival in Seattle for the World's Fair, and judging the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in Fort Worth, Texas. 1964 clippings include Ganz's opinions on the Star Spangled Banner.
