Series 6: Oversized Photographs (11 in x 18 in, 20 in x 24 in), 1970-1973
Scope and Contents note
Black and white oversized photographs of classes, rehearsals, productions from various dance companies from Chicago and New York. Also includes various international companies’ performances. Portraits of dancers and company members are included. Majority of photographs are mounted to be 11 in. x 18 in. in size, with the photo being smaller than the mounting. Some photographs are not mounted. Images covered in oversized photographs appear in other formats in the collection. One 20 in. x 24 in. mounted photograph is also included.

The Ruth Levy dance photographs are open for research in the Special Collections Reading Room; 1 box at a time (Priority III).
Arrangement note
Arranged alphabetically by production title, dance company, or individual surname and chronologically therein where applicable. Unidentified and undated photographs are arranged at the end. The oversized 20 in. x 24 in. photograph is arranged at the end in a loose folder.
