Scope and Content of the Collection

From the Collection:

Collection of 33 stereograph images issued by various publishers, including images of animals, American scenes, staged domestic views and images of Hell. Most views are from the United States from approximately the 1870s, and some cards have hand coloring. Includes a French Diableries set of hell scenes that are tissue stereoviews in yellow floral frames. Also includes a wooden stereoscope with no indication of a manufacturer.
