Banks' files document his activities in conservation organizations and interest groups and his role in establishing conservation courses, programs, and policies nationally and at the Newberry Library. Also included are Newberry Library administrative materials, e.g., binding orders, grant proposals, grant administration files (Ayer Art), project files (painting conservation, Newberry Library typeface recasting). Cullison's files contain memoranda, reports, and brochures on Library conservation issues, other conservation programs, and sources of funding.
