Three diaries kept by Emma Wormwood, a school teacher in Macoupin County, Illinois, during the years 1895-1898. In her entries, Ms. Wormwood describes the weather, her daily chores and activities, her interactions with family, friends and pupils, and her experiences teaching at Hazel Green School.
