Scope and Contents note
Official records of The Fortnightly of Chicago regarding the founding and executive operations. Includes the Articles of Incorporation, by-laws, and minutes for the Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Some other committee reports are also included with the minutes. Minutes of other committees are in Series 4: Committee Records. Minutes are restricted for a period ending fifty (50) years from the date of the meeting described in the minutes.
Subseries 3: Constitution contains no material, but the Constitution can be found in the annual yearbook. Some early printed volumes of The Fortnightly of Chicago constitution and by-laws are individually cataloged as HQ 1906.C4 F6.
