Scope and Content of the Collection
This collection consists mainly of newspaper clippings of Eulenberg’s articles and his column “In the Classroom” written for the Chicago Daily News. Eulenberg’s articles and his column cover a wide variety of mostly local topics. As a Sinophile from childhood, Eulenberg writes extensively about Chicago’s Chinese community. He also covers Jewish holidays and charity organizations such as the Crusade of Mercy. Also included in the collection are a small amount of research materials gathered for his column, and collected newspaper clippings regarding himself, his family, and various other topics of interest.
