 File — Box: 53, Folder: 1203

Scope and Contents note

From the Series:

Letters, memos, publications, employee newsletters and other documents pertaining to Barker's employers and business interests. Correspondence concerning the First National Bank of Boston is particularly revealing in its discussions of the establishment of a Buenos Aires branch, and the evolution of Barker's role within the organization. Materials of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad Co. (commonly known as the Milwaukee Railroad), where Barker was a consultant, offer an inside look at some of the legal maneuverings that took place within the company during the 1960s. In addition, materials regarding Barker's tenure at Sears reflect his hands-on approach with personnel and management.
