Files relating to Royko’s work at the Chicago newspapers, along with documents of his life away from the newsroom. Included is documentation of Royko’s taking guitar lessons at the Old Town School of Folk Music, his country club memberships and his softball games. Royko was also recorded reading Chicago Magazine for the Blind Service Association. The Health-related file includes a newspaper research file on Acupuncture from 1972, and cardiac information from the 1990’s.
