Includes letters, telegrams, notes, postcards, clippings, greeting cards, and miscellanea exchanged with (and about) people whom Romaine met and the organizations which he interacted with during his lifetime. Romaine also saved letters of rejection or of acknowledgement by publishers as well as announcements of upcoming events involving his friends and acquaintances. Correspondents include Albert Brush, Harry Carlisle, Jack Conroy, Frank Marshall Davis, Paul Gibson, Viola Ilma, Eva Le Gallienne, Jay Robert Nash, and Harry Schwartz.
