Mostly incoming letters from colleagues and fellow journalists as well as congratulatory letters from notable figures such as Mike Royko, Paul Simon, Paul Douglas, and Otto Kerner. Also includes one folder of inter-office memos between Mabley and fellow staff members at Chicago Today, interesting for its insight into the policy making and office dynamics of the paper.
