Scope and Content of the Collection

Collection consists of twenty letters retained by George B. Simpson of Dundee, Scotland, mostly dealing with his apparent activities as an art dealer, restorer or curator. Also, one small engraving by Scottish artist James Cassie as well as a small sketch on one of Cassie’s two letters, and five newspapers clippings regarding the Rev. Colin Campbell of Dundee.
