Scope and Content of the Collection From the Collection: Approximately 300 pages of genealogical research notes from the early 1900s pertaining to the Scribner, Freeman, and Heckle families, extending back to the 17th century. Materials primarily trace the genealogical lines of the Scribner family descending from Waterboro, Maine and were probably collected by William Marshall Scribner.
