Scope and Contents From the Series: Established by the Board of Trustees on June 16, 1892, the Committee on Books was responsible for the selection and purchase of all library materials. Between 1887 and 1892 Trustees Eliphalet W. Blatchford and William H. Bradley met with Librarian William F. Poole for the purpose of discussing and selecting books to be purchased for the Library.
