Established by the Board of Trustees on June 16, 1892, the Committee on Administration was charged with overseeing all activities of the library building, property, and employees.

Records include the Minutes of the Committee on Administration (1892-1920) and an incomplete set of the Committee's Annual Reports to the Board of Trustees (1899, 1914-1941). Other reports of the Committee are generally included in the Minutes of the Board of Trustees (02/01/30).
