Secretary of the Pullman’s Palace Car Company and Pullman Company, 1878-1918. Born May 12, 1846, in Allentown, Pa., A. S. Weinsheimer entered railroad work in 1860 as a telegraph operator, freight clerk and ticket agent. He joined the Pullman’s Palace Car Company in 1871, and in 1878 was promoted to Secretary, a position he held until his death in 1918.
