Scope and Contents note From the Series: This series consists of both Dawson's journalistic writing and his poetry. The majority is made up of notes, research and drafts of his legal writings including his "Advice of Counsel" column, and feature length articles. Dawson had a relatively brief career writing poetry, most of which appears between 1919-1920. There are several published poems as well as handwritten and typewritten drafts.
