Scope and Contents note From the Series: This series consists of handwritten letters by Carter H. Harrison III (1825-1893), Harrison's father. Most are personal letters written to his wife, mother, and other family members. Many of the letters were written while Harrison's father was traveling abroad, including almost all of those from 1851-1853 and 1887-1888.
