Evers, Special Indian Agent - Drafts, Photos and Original Correspondence, (Includes handwritten copy of "Report of Produce Raised Near Fort Keogh, M.T., by Captured and Surrendered Northern Cheyenne Indians" for years 1878-81, copied from Capt. Evers's original report by same. Also includes a copy of a letter to the Adjutant General, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C., dated Fort Keogh, Mont., May 4, 1891 from Capt. E.P Evers, reporting on the status of the Northern Cheyenne at Fort Keogh Reservation and recommending the reservation be extended to the Tongue River Reservation to unite the Cheyenne Tribes. Inscribed at the bottom: "A true copy respectfully furnished the Sioux and Cheyenne Commissioners of 1891, while at Fort Keogh, Montana," signed by E.P. Evers, Special Indian Agent. Also includes copy of letter from Evers to General Nelson Miles, October 29, 1890, Fort Keogh, Montana, summarizing Evers's involvement with the Cheyennes in Montana since 1881 and providing background information about the current status of the Indians.
