113 various Harris-Seybold Company publications and advertising materials created and collected by account executive John A. McKinven, between 1945 and 1956. The Harris-Seybold Company was a leading manufacturer of lithographic and letterpress printing equipment, and was located in Cleveland, Ohio.

Correspondence, calligraphic samples, advertising and press releases, magazine issues, publications, catalogs, and photographs documenting the publication of Letter Arts Review (formerly Calligraphy Idea Exchange and Calligraphy Review), a quarterly magazine devoted to contemporary and historical lettering, calligraphy, typography, and text-based art.
Michelin map collection
Road maps issued by the French tire manufacturer Pneu Michelin, better known as Michelin (4,990 maps, published 1905-ongoing). Geographic coverage most complete for Benelux, British Isles, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Switzerland; less complete for Eastern Europe, Africa, the Americas, and Asia. Accompanied by a small collection of printed ephemera, secondary sources, souvenirs, and collectibles (approximately 350 items, 1911-2016).
Never The Same ephemera collection
Ephemera collected by Never The Same, a project begun by Northwestern University Professor Rebecca Zorach and Daniel Tucker, founder of AREAChicago. Never The Same collects items documenting socially and politically engaged art in Chicago since the 1960s. Collection consists of brochures, fliers, postcards, pamphlets, posters, artwork, books, journals, CDs, DVDs, and 3-dimensional artifacts emanating from a wide variety of sources, both individual and organizational.

Rand McNally and Company records
Business records of the Rand McNally Company, established in 1856 in Chicago. The firm became well known for its cartographic publishing, but also produced a variety of trade books, textbooks, periodicals, and printing jobs such as railroad tickets and coupons. Includes records of financial, marketing, and production activities, including correspondence; visual materials, including photographs, artwork, and scrapbooks; printing artifacts and samples, etc.

A collection of over 2500 type specimen sheets and other advertising materials issued by type foundries, typesetters, and printers that display typefaces, type families, or groups of types. Geographic coverage includes United States, Great Britain, and continental Europe.
