German Folksongs, arranged by Arthur Fickisch [?], Sung by Mina Hager, Played by Mabel Stapleton.
Scope and Contents note
Reel-to-reel tapes and disc recordings. The reel tapes are 5-inch and 7-inch tapes, one 7 1/2 ips (others not identified). Most of the content is completely unidentified; one tape merely says "Practice," and another has items crossed out so it is difficult to determine what is on the tape. Included, according to what is on the boxes of some of the tapes, is: Dichterliebe, by Schumann; Le Miroir, by Gustave Ferrari; Ese un giorno tornasse, by Respighi; Der Tod und Das Madchen by Schubert; Dumb Dora by Rogers (possibly the same as the disc recording); Salve Regina, by Pergolesi / Frederick Stock; Sunday and Love song by Brahms, in English; Fairy Tales by Erich Wolff, in English; and Dansons la Gigue, by Carpenter.
