Personal correspondence, 1907-1913
Scope and Contents note
Her papers contain the replies from railroad employees, along with notes about employees and their dates of service. Occasionally there are printed materials (newsclippings, death notices, etc.) related to the employees as well. In addition, her papers contain clippings about C. E. Perkins' involvement in the United States Senate's Select Committee on Interstate Commerce, an index of a scrapbook dated 1834-1914 [not in the CB&Q collection], and personal correspondence, which includes thank-you letters for Mrs. Perkins' gift of the book An American Railroad Builder: John Murray Forbes.
The index to C.E. Perkins scrapbooks was originally cataloged in the 1949 printed guide as C-O 1 P4.8 Index; and the Employee Record of Service Letters were originally cataloged as C-O 1 P4.91.
