Letters written to James O'Donnell Bennett while he was a journalist for the Chicago Record-Herald and the Chicago Tribune, primarily in his capacity as literary critic. Also includes inscribed photographs, most of writers and actors. Some photographs inscribed using nicknames "Jamie" and "Susie" for James and Susan Bennett.
