Evelyn M. Atkiesson dance scrapbook
Scrapbook and loose material from the scrapbook documenting the dance career of Chicago dancer-actress-musician Evelyn "Evie" Martha Atkeisson (b. 1906). Atkeisson performed with the European Ballet School, Chicago, taught at the Lyon & Healy Music Building, and danced at the formal opening of the Drake Hotel.

Betty Felsen papers
Photographs, programs, clippings and other material documenting the dance career of Betty Felsen (1905-2000), Felsen danced in the corps de ballet of the Pavley-Oukrainsky Ballet in Chicago starting at age 15; after ballet she had a vaudeville career with dancing partner Jack Broderick. Subsequently, Felsen started dance schools in Worcester, Massachusetts, and Cleveland, Ohio.

Chicago's Stone-Camryn School of Ballet was founded in 1941 by established dancers Walter Camryn and Bentley Stone. It became one of the most successful American ballet schools in placing its graduates in professional companies, and in creating new generations of dance teachers. Personal and professional papers of American photographer and artist Helen Balfour Morrison. Born in Evanston, Illinois in 1900, Morrison undertook several artistic photography projects that were exhibited throughout the United States during the 1930s and 1940s. Her longtime collaboration with dancer Sybil Shearer involved further artistic endeavors through stage lighting designs and filmmaking.
